I've purchased from Red Thread in E Hartford ( tilt top tables and chairs) - they are ok but not quite the best.
I've purchased from Demco - sift seating ( not holding up at all) and high top tables ( these are good).
I'm currently working with Charlie Cohen. Creative Library Concepts in NJ ( 732-742-4650). This firm presented at the Library Learning Commons programs at CES and I've seen them at AASL conferences. They seem to be the best fit in that they will come
in and work with you on a design ( complete or in phases) that fits your budget and needs. There is no obligation to purchase with them. They work with many many vendors. They are true professionals and I've seen examples of their work - well known in CT as
well as NY and NJ. I would recommend looking at this group very closely.
Our school library will be going through a renovation project this summer (as long as our school budget passes in May- fingers crossed). Wondering if anyone has any contacts/vendors
that you'd recommend for shelving/tables/furniture?
Thanks,
