I've actually been meaning to pass along this info for a couple of weeks. There is this great organization called
EcoWorks in New Haven. They specialize in collecting unwanted materials and selling them again cheaply as art supplies arts and other "
upcycling" efforts. They are the ONLY place in CT that works this way, and they LOVE teachers. Please spread the word to anyone looking to donate materials that might be otherwise thrown out (books, VHS, office supplies etc.), or for teachers that are looking for a really cheap place to shop for classroom resources and art supplies. They even host crafting classes!!!! Please support this great
initiative in our state!
