The Budget currently being debated in the House of Representatives would partially restore the cuts to statewide library services that had were in the Governor’s proposed budget. There is also a small reduction in the funding for the State-Wide
Digital Library (iCONN and reQuest) and the State Library’s book budget in FY2016. Once a budget is passed by the House it will then have to be voted on by the Senate. The current session ends at midnight tonight. I will provide the final budget numbers when
a budget is passed.
