Please join Elanah Sherman of the State Office of Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities, and Ed Morrissey, Chair of the CT Library Association ADA Committee, for a workshop on The Americans with Disabilities Act and how it relates to libraries.

This presentation will include a discussion of ADA theory in relation to both public and private nonprofit libraries; a hands-on measuring exercise to help participants assess structural environments; and an introduction to the use of library-oriented accessible information technology. The approach will be informal and interactive, with breaks built into the three hour program.
