Those looking to make the case to their administrators to attend the AASL 17th National Conference & Exhibition should check out the latest KQ blog post from national conference co-chair Kathy Lowe. In the blog post, Kathy outlines several strategies for school librarians looking to get buy-in from the administrator to attend AASL's national conference. Some examples include:
- Have a plan for what you will do at the conference.
- Highlight the nationally known speakers and authors on the program and explain how their ideas will inspire and inform your practice.
- Accentuate the value of hands-on opportunities to see and try out new technologies.
