We weeded most, moved some to nonfiction, and now have a very small reference section (with subject-specific sets - which will probably be weeded in the next go-round!) near the nonfiction section.  We now have a collaborative work space in the prior reference section, with flexible furnature with built-in charging and brainstorming whiteboards.

We've eliminated the section entirely. We added counters for students to sit in that area with charging stations. We did keep some of the books and I included them in the collection. Our relevant references are all digital.

Good morning.

I am wondering how many high school libraries still keep a printed reference section.  If so, what types of books does it feature?  We are substantially weeding our reference section and I was curious to see how many schools have eliminated it entirely.

Thanks!
