One of our English teachers asked if we could help spread the word: the Library of Congress 23rd Annual Writing Contest is about to begin! There are 3 competition levels for grades 4-12 and this year’s theme is: “How Did an Author’s Work Change your View of the World or Yourself?” Students write a personal letter to the author of a fiction or nonfiction book, poem or play describing how the author’s work changed them or their view of the world.
