In my district the 5th grade teachers are using Animoto to do this.

I used WeVideo on desktops in the computer lab…   .  Is that too old school?  J  They were 6th & 7th grade, but I thought it was easy to use.

you can use the video manager in youtube and mix live video (shot with clipchamp app) and still images.  so cool...and easy too!
