Hello all -
A few weeks ago I posted a volunteer opportunity (see below) for those of you who might have a free Saturday or not be going anywhere for April break. We received a nice response and are grateful to the offer of time and library management skills to come help get the shelves at Fox School reorganized.
Unfortunately, we discovered that we will be unable to get into the school on April 16th. Fortunately, there will be access to the school this Saturday, April 9th as well as Saturday, April 23rd. I am resending this link to the form I originally sent in case you can make either of these dates.
If you are able to make either one, please take a minute to let us know by filling out the form once again so I know how many bagels to bake.

Thank you again for considering this.

====================

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that combines your desire to help with your love of books? Do you love the Dewey Decimal system? (Who doesn't?)  Are you hanging around Connecticut in mid-April with nothing much to do on Saturday mornings?

My friend Monica has been working to reassemble the library media center at M.D. Fox School in Hartford and could use a hand organizing the neglected shelves. On Saturdays April 16th and 23rd I will be working with her and anyone who may be able to give some time between 8 and 12.  I will supply home-made bagels, butter, cream cheese and DD coffee. If you are willing, available and able to help, please fill out this very brief form and I will get back to you with directions and more details.  Feel free to email if you have any questions. Thank you for considering this!
