You can use Bridgeport Bindery.  They also take old weeded  books…I have also used Tyco in New Haven

I would contact Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) in New Haven http://creativeartsworkshop.org/classes/book-arts/, as I would think the teacher (below) would be able to do it, or refer you to another professional.  Another idea would be to contact the Beinecke Library at Yale and ask for suggestions.  I have a friend who works there, so let me know if you need help with that.

And BTW, CAW actually has a class coming up on doing your own repairs (but I'd leave this to pros); I took this class a while back:

Intermediate/Advanced

Library Book Repairs: Inside & Out

with Susan Klein

Making repairs from inside a book (paper repairs and tip-ins) to outside (board reattachments and rebacks), this class will focus on putting back together hardcover books from the New Haven Free Public Library. Students wishing to include a damaged book of their own should bring it to the first session for evaluation.

Prerequisite: at least one bookbinding class or permission of the instructor.

Thursday, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, 3/31 – 5/5
6 sessions: $209

Subject: [CASL-L] rebound books

Good morning,

Our headmaster has a 1800s book that is relevant to our school history that he would like to have rebound.  We have never had books rebound and I was hoping to get a recommendation for a company to do that.  If you have any suggestions, we would appreciate it.

Thanks & have a great day!
