Overview

Join us for a one-hour webinar, Making the Most Out of MakerSpaces, on Thursday, May 19, from 3 to 4 p.m. Guest presenter Brandi Young, Integration Librarian at INFOhio, will share ideas for dedicating a space in your school library on little to no budget where students can use physical and/or digital tools to think, design, create, experiment, build and invent.

Whether you’re new to the MakerSpace movement and looking to start one or an early adopter looking for new ideas, you’ll find everything you need in this webinar.

Topics will include:

  • Planning your MakerSpace
  • Resources and activities for your MakerSpace
  • Marketing your MakerSpace to students
  • Advocating for a MakerSpace in your school

This presentation will be recorded, so even if you are unable to join us for the live session, be sure to register now in order to receive access to the recording in the days following the presentation.

Program duration is 40-45 minutes with time for questions.
