Reply-To: aaslforum@lists.ala.org
Hello,
Today the final 2 blogs for Choose Privacy Week 2016 were posted. They were written by:
Carolyn Caywood, retired Virginia public librarian and privacy advocate, writing about engaging students in privacy discussions, and
Dr. Dorothea Salo, associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Library and Information Studies, providing resources for teaching about privacy.
Another resources was posted for school librarians today: the “Library Privacy Guidelines for Students in K-12 Schools.” It was drafted by the ALA Privacy Subcommittee with input from others and approved by the ALA Intellectual Freedom Committee. This is a link to the press release and another link to the Guidelines.
