I too am interest in a SLO goal to encourage elementary school teachers to use the LMC as a research resource. I am in a fixed schedule building and have blocks of time I could use to work with classes in the library to extend and supplement their research units.  We have a new principal that I'm sure you support a teacher/classroom focused SLO goal. Please share if you have had used SLO's as a way to encourage collaboration.

Subject: [CASL-L] SLO Goal Assisting Teachers
Hi,

Did anyone use a SLO goal in the past that was more directed towards
teachers than students? If so could you share it out with me? I talked
with someone at the Connecticut State Dept. of Ed about using the Service
Delivery Rubric and regarding wording a goal to support teachers in
effecting student learning - something such as supporting/collaborating
with course content teachers to integrate LMC resources into courses.
Also, does anyone have a goal related to their Makerspace area of the
library? Anything Google related?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

I'd be very interested in doing something similar with helping teachers integrate research skills and library curriculum. In high school with flex scheduling it's very hard to anchor an SLO like a content area teacher can because you're competing for time.

I also would love to hear about SLO at high school.  Just moved back to high
school level after 3 years in elementary level and I sure could use some
suggestions.
