How scared can you get in just thirty seconds?
Dive into the shortest, scariest stories ever created, with more than seventy instant thrills from the likes of Lemony Snicket, James
Patterson, Neil Gaiman, R.L. Stine, Holly Black, Brett Helquist, and Margaret Atwood. You’ll never look at your closet door, your cat, your sock drawer, or even yourself in the mirror the same way again!
There are lots of collections with popular YA authors, but not many of such short length. These are pretty good and quite brief.

There’s also
Attack of the Vampire Weenies by David Lubar. Short stories and kind of creepy in a funny sort of way.

The stories in the Guys Read series are usually short & every engaging;
Chris Crutcher’s Athletic Shorts has a lot of appeal – but the stories are longer

I have a teacher in search of YA short stories written by contemporary YA authors either online or in an anthology that would hold the interest of today's teens/reluctant readers
and be a quick read - she's looking for two-three pages. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
