I have a middle school social studies teacher who is looking for a novel or two to do with her social studies classes.   Specifically, she is looking for something set in either Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome or the Middle Americas.

In the past, she has used Parvana's Journey and The Chinese Cinderella for her eastern cultures and has enjoyed those texts.  She is looking for something similar for these other cultures.

Any ideas, book people?
