Our 5th graders buddy with Kinders and our 4th graders buddy with Gr 1 since the 4th  and 5th are 1:1 Chromebooks.  So, I place the coding activities appropriate for the lower grades in a google doc and push it our through classroom.  It helps to give choice but to keep the partnerships in age appropriate activities for the Hour of Code.
