Hi Dawn,

We use this rubric for speaking/listening.  It might help with the request.  I am seeking a rubric from our performing arts/drama teacher to see if she can use that.  I will forward it to you if/when I receive it from her.  I know sometimes teachers use a combo of rubrics in special projects like the described.

Subject: Rubric for dramatic performances

Dear Colleagues,

Does anyone have a rubric you find useful for scoring students' dramatic performance of a text? I am working with Scripture texts, but you might have something related to theater, history, or literature that could work. I am planning to score students based on oral communication skills, independence from the text (memorization, or close to it), effective use of body language, and effectiveness of visual aid(s). If you have anything that might help me, and it is easy for you to share, please send it along.

Many thanks,

Sister Marie Benedict
