Only four books, but it’s a start! Please let me know if you have something to add!

Subject: [CASL-L] Best books relating to Connecticut history
Hi everyone,
I work at two elementary schools in West Haven and was recently informed that some of the classes will be working on projects relating to Connecticut history next year. To ensure that I have the resources they will need, I'm hoping that
you all might suggest some good books (fiction and nonfiction) that would be appealing to 3rd and 4th grade students with a wide variety of reading abilities. For example, I would love to identify historical fiction that takes place in Connecticut as well
as nonfiction books about the history of Connecticut and biographies about famous people from Connecticut. Really, anything and everything relating to Connecticut would be wonderful.
Thank you all in advance!
