Alternate Route to Certification for Library Media Specialists (ARCLMS).

Visit www.aces.org/arclms for full details, application and schedule.

ARCLMS is an advanced educator preparation program approved by the CT State Board of Education. It was developed by ACES in response to the statewide shortage of qualified, certified school library media specialists in CT.

Teachers who complete the one year program of study will earn cross-endorsement #062, Library Media Specialist K-12, and are eligible for employment as a library media specialist in any CT public school.

The ARCLMS program is offered in both collaborative face-to-face and eLearning models.

View the downloadable program brochure here.

Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2017 and will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Cohort options are open until filled, so don’t wait to apply!
