We bought 12 of the robot mouse (actually 10 as the whole kit and the other 10 just the mouse. Through Amazon the mouse alone was only $20 or so. I liked them as did all my K-5 students. We combined them with Keva planks and a bunch of recyclable items to build courses and retell stories building the setting (K-3) and it was successful. We purchase 6 Beebots to compare since they are quite a bit more in price. The differences are the beebots don't need batteries. Although the mice were used extensively and I had not changed batteries as of a few weeks ago. They Beebots do tend to run a straighter course -more accurate than the mice but the kids seemed to like the mice a bit more.

Combining other items and connecting to literacy was a big win!

I haven't used the Code and Go but have heard good things about it.

We also use KIBO robot with PreK-2 (mostly) and they love that. They do need a bit of help sometimes scanning the bar codes, but they love creating the codes.

I have recently been using Cubetto with my Preks and Ks - screen free - and they LOVE it!!!
