Good morning!

We're writing a grant application with the hope of acquiring a set of kindles to use for readers who have a diagnosed issue (reading, vision) and/or are extremely reluctant.  We're thinking of loading selected books for the students, particularly fiction being read in class, and circulating the kindles to those kids.

Has anyone had experience with this?  We're wondering about:

-how the kindles are managed?  contract for breakage?  insurance?

-do students take them home?

-have you used the My Clippings feature?  is there a minimum level kindle for this (e.g. Fire)?  is it exportable?

-if you have Fires, what has been your experience with controlling what students can access?

-any other cautions?  super successes?

We'd be grateful for any information you could share!

Thanks!!

Ava
