Hello all,

A reporter named Leonard Felson is writing an article for Hartford Magazine's educational issue in September about the transformation of school libraries. . .

Here is what he said, "I just spoke to my editor. We'd like to do one story about the transformation of school libraries, using these two examples (Learning Commons and Makerspaces) as key illustrations. Hope that makes sense. When's a good time to visit and see either in action at Sedgwick? I'll reach out to the folks you mentioned.

Also, what other towns/schools beyond West Hartford are on this cutting edge? I'd like to get a few other examples -- ideally  east of the river, Farmington Valley and north of Hartford. Speaking of which, is there a good example in Hartford?"

If you are interested in being part of this great opportunity to promote our relevance in schools, please email me, shannon_mcneice@whps.org or contact Leonard directly at lfelson@gmail.com

Thanks!
