Book Trailers for Beginners

Book trailers are like movie trailers, but for books! This class is for the true beginner at book trailers. Its relaxed pace will create book trailers in a low stress, fun environment. We'll start from scratch, learning the basics of images, file saving, and uploading files. Then we'll move to creating simple book trailers with titles, music, and images.  If you have a love-hate relationship with your computer, this class is for you. Participants should bring earphones and have an email account they can check during the class.

Objectives:

  1. To master image selection for book trailers including locating, saving, and retrieving images
  2. To create a personal account for and learn the environment of an online book trailer site like WeVideo (or similar).
  3. To create a book trailer video with images and music
  4. To edit the trailer, making changes to the order of images and to the selected music, and to add titles to the trailer
