Looking to see if anyone can help identify this book~searching for a friend.

"I'm trying to remember a book I read as a kid.  About these neighborhood kids who were all "famous" for certain things__one had the most pets, the other the most siblings, maybe one had the reddest hair.?  Then a new kid moves in and has more pets, more siblings, redder hair."
