We, too, wish that Baker & Taylor records were as complete as the
standard OCLC record, or at least the standard K level record. Sometime
they're not only short, they're inaccurate.

Subject: [Conntech] OCLC records
For about the last month or so, we at the Wilton Library have seen a
large increase in the number of "brief records" (i.e, MARC records with
no subject headings, author, contents, etc.) that we have imported into
our catalog from OCLC. Of course, this requires extra steps to search
for and bring over the complete record once the book arrives.
Has anyone else seen this problem in their library?
Thanks in advance for any information,
Carolyn Benjamin
