Don't miss these exciting roundtable meeting for November:
Children's Librarians' Roundtable: Northwest

Don't miss the next meeting of the CLR-NW on Monday, November 5, at Norfolk
Library for a discussion on "Effective Booktalking to Children." Linda
Williams from Willimantic Library Service Center will conduct a presentation
on how to effectively booktalk books to children. She has some very
interesting suggestions about how to use different visual aids in your
discussion, as well as suggestions on how to find out about books that you
haven't read but must discuss with children. After the presentation, we will
have a brief discussion about the "Magic Tree House" musical held recently
at the Warren Theater in Torrington. All meetings will have coffee, tea and
refreshments provided at 9:30 with the meeting to begin at 10:00. In the
event of snow, check with the hosting library's school system for
cancellations (in which we will cancel) or delays (in which we will delay
the meeting to 11:00).
