[Conntech] Public Library Construction Funding Increased

Good news! The bonding package approved by the General Assembly yesterday includes 16 million in public library construction funding over the biennium. $3.5 million for non distressed communities and $5 million for distressed communities each of the next two years.  The legislation also increased the maximum grant to $1 million (not to exceed 1/3 the total cost of the project).  Thanks to all who worked so hard in support of the increased funding. The Governor is expected to sign the legislation.
