[Conntech] Minigrant application from REFORMA

Every other year the regional chapter of REFORMA awards a minigrant for a unique service to serve Spanish speakers or Latino patrons.  Please apply if you wish consideration. Thanks and Good Luck. the application is attached in a word document.

  Mini-Grant Guidelines
                  • Applications will be  distributed at the next chapter meeting, and sent to state coordinators during the month of April.
• The Mini-Grant will be given every two years based on availability of funds.
• This award is limited to any library from the Northeast region (CT, MA, NJ, NY, PA, and RI) that provides services to a Spanish-speaking population.
• One mini-grant is awarded up to a maximum of $500 to be used for library materials or programs in Spanish.
• The Reforma Northeast Chapter will select a committee of three (3) from its members to choose the grant recipients.
• Mini-Grant applications and information will be sent to the Northeast Chapter members via email, regular mail (when requested) and will be posted on the website.
• The deadline for submitting an application will be May 31, 2008.
• The announcement of the winner of the Mini-Grant will be made to the chapter members at the September 2008 meeting.
• The library which receives the Mini-Grant will need to make a report to the general membership at one chapter meeting within one year of acceptance.
