Even librarians are invited to this one...

AUTHORS LIVE! with KEITH GESSEN at the West Hartford Public Library.
Keith Gessen will read from his novel, "All the Sad Young Literary Men,"
at the town library at Blue Back Square on Thursday, April 17, 7:30 p.m.
The author will then sign copies of his book at Barnes & Noble, next
door to the library. Reservations are suggested by visiting:
http:/westhartfordlibrary.org/authorslive/ or calling the library at:
869-561-6990.

Gessen's story charts the lives of Mark, Keith, and Sam as they
overthink their college years, underthink their love lives, and struggle
through the encouragement of the women who love and despise them to find
a semblance of maturity, responsibility, and even literary fame. The
book radiates with comedic warmth and biting honesty and heralds the
arrival of an important new literary talent.

Keith Gessen was born in Russia and educated at Harvard and Syracuse. He
is a founder of the magazine "n+1" http://www.nplusonemag.com/ based in
New York City, and translator of the National Book Critics Circle
Award-winning, "Voices from Chernobyl." His work has also appeared in
"Dissent," "The New Yorker," and the "New York Review of Books."

The library is located at 20 S. Main Street, and parking for this event
is free for those who park in the Isham Garage and bring their ticket
for validation. Directions:
