Frank Deford - Author Talk @ the Trumbull Library 

 

Trumbull, CT - On Sunday, May 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Frank Deford
will talk about his newest work of fiction, The Entitled, at the Trumbull
Library. The novel, which comes out in paperback this Spring, is about a
major league baseball team manager in Cleveland, Ohio. "From the dugouts to
the tabloid scandals The Entitled is the great novel of baseball's modern
era."  Mr. Deford will discuss his book, various topics, and sign copies of
his book at the end. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited for

About the Author:

In addition to his position as senior contributing writer for Sports
Illustrated, Mr. Deford has received numerous honors including being elected
to the Hall of Fame of the National Association of Sportscasters and
Sportswriters, selected Six-time National Sportswriter of the Year, authored
fifteen books and appears as a regular, Wednesday commentator for National
Public Radio's Morning Edition.
