**Please excuse cross-postings**
Dear colleagues,
I am conducting a survey in order to gather data about art exhibition
programs in public libraries. It is my hope that the systematic
collection and analysis of data will provide a picture of the
"state-of-the-art" in public library art exhibition programming, and
that insights gleaned from the data may support institutions that are
considering the development of an art exhibition program. Responses are
being solicited from public libraries in Canada and the United States.
If you are responsible for an art exhibition program in your public
library I would greatly appreciate the five to ten minutes of your time
it will take to complete this survey!
The results of this survey will be presented at the Art Libraries
Society of North America's <http://arlisna.org/> annual conference
(May 1-5, 2008) in Denver, Colorado at a session dedicated to public art
librarianship. The presentation will be available on the ARLIS/NA
conference proceedings website after the conference. Those wishing for
complete survey results may contact me directly. A note on
confidentiality: the names of institutions will not be used in the
presentation and will likewise be removed from complete survey results
that are shared.
TAKE THE SURVEY

You may help to distribute this survey by forwarding it to colleagues
that fit the description above.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or
concerns.
Thank you!
