Libratects workshop at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Monroe

Libratects is a lecture series where public libraries describe their building process to create an improved library facility.  The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library will have speakers covering some of these topics:
-When and how the project was started
-Planning 
-Fundraising
-Funding sources
-What key players do (architects, trustees, town officials, library director, building committee, clerk of the works, etc.)
-Problems and how they were solved
-Things that worked well
-Using a private building consultant
-Site selection
-Bidding
-Construction
-Interior design and furnishing selection
-Moving

Project Description for the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library:  This is a new library building with a total square footage of 33,702.

3. Find the date of the event and click on the underlined event title
to register.
4. Enter the following information: FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, PHONE
NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS,  NAME OF YOUR LIBRARY OR ARCHITECTURAL FIRM,
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS REQUIRED, NOTES (for additional instructions). 
5. Click on COMPLETE REGISTRATION when done. 
First time users will be prompted  to enter an address. Please enter
YOUR LIBRARY OR FIRM ADDRESS.  Once completed you will receive an
event confirmation form.  

CANCELLATION POLICY DUE TO BAD WEATHER: If the public schools in the
town/city that the library is located are closed due to bad weather,
the workshop will be canceled.
