Bye-bye Backlog! Clean house this spring with these OCLC cataloging courses!
Jump start your spring cleaning with SEARCHING FOR CATALOGERS.
This three-hour workshop introduces technical service users and catalogers
to searching WorldCat. Students will learn how to select the most effective
search method and how to use qualifiers to narrow search results. They will
also learn how to find the best record to match their items and how to
navigate search results.

Now go for INTRODUCTION TO OCLC CONNEXIONT CLIENT.
Participants will work through the basic cataloging workflow with a
three-hour workshop, hands-on workshop. The course also includes training
on, working with bibliographic records, exporting records and printing
labels.

In this 2 hour webinar, OCLC's trainer will:
Explain what a cataloging record is and why/how we use them.
Present an overview of cataloging concepts and what resources to use--AACR2
Rev., 2nd ed., 2005 update; USMARC21; LCSH; LCC; DDC.
Concentrate on cataloging a monograph, while defining integrating resources
and serials so that you will be able to recognize such resources when you
encounter them.
