[Conntech] FLAG MLS scholarships

The Fairfield County Library Administrators Group (FLAG) will award two $500
MLS scholarships again this year.  If you have a qualified applicant working
at your library, please let him or her know about the award.  The deadline
for receipts of all application materials is February 29, 2008.

The criteria for all applicants are:
Applicant must be a matriculating MLS student at an ALA Accredited Master's
Program in Library and Information Studies (verification required).

Applicants must work or have worked in a FLAG member library within the last
five years.  FLAG libraries are: Bridgeport Public Library, Brookfield
Public Library,  Danbury Library, Darien Library, Easton Public Library,
Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Fairfield Public Library, The Farmington
Libraries, Ferguson Library, Greenwich Library, Guilford Free Library, Mark
Twain Public Library, Milford Library, New Canaan Library, Cyrenius Booth
Library, Norwalk Public Library, Perrot Memorial Library, Purdue Pharma
Library, Ridgefield Public Library, Southington Library and Museum,
Stratford Library Association, Trumbull Library, Western Connecticut State
University, Westport Public Library and Wilton Library Association.

Scholarship winners will be presented with the award at the CLA annual
conference in April 2008.  Award recipients will receive free registration
and lunch on awards day.
