The Kent Memorial Library in Kent has an immediate opening for a Marketing &
Adult Programming Director.

This newly revised position has a focus on the overall marketing of library
as well as the development and presentation of programs for adults. We seek
a creative individual with ability to approach high profile public people to
elicit their support and participation in library events. Computer literacy
is required with desktop publishing a plus. We require a Bachelor’s degree
with a concentration in marketing, public relations, advertising, journalism
or communications preferred. Two years experience in management including
budget preparation and strategic report composition is also required with
some public library and/or non-profit experience preferred. Demonstrated
experience in producing news releases, newsletters, flyers, annual reports
and programs is essential. The position consists of sixteen regularly
scheduled hours each week including alternate Saturdays with additional time
