All Connecticut librarians are invited to the New Haven Lawn Club next
Wednesday, February 20, from 9:30 to 3:30, for a full day of discussion
about OCLC products, services, and training, open source technology, and
OCLC's most recent membership report, "Sharing, Privacy and Trust in Our
Networked World."
Registration is free (as is parking at the Lawn Club) but space is limited,

WALDO's Rob Karen and John Stromquist speaking about their experience with
Open Source technology in the WALDO academic library consortium.

OCLC's Andy Bush and Patrick Moriarity speaking about OCLC products,
including CONTENTdm and WorldCat Local.
Noon:
Complimentary (and delicious!) buffet lunch at the Lawn Club

Our featured speaker, Cathy De Rosa, OCLC's Vice President for the Americas
and Global Vice President of Marketing for OCLC. Cathy will speak about
OCLC's most recent membership report, "Sharing, Privacy and Trust in Our
Networked World." This OCLC membership report explores the web of social
participation and cooperation on the Internet and how it may impact the
library's role.
