[Conntech] Workshop - Navigating the Health Care System

Healthnet:Connecticut Consumer Health Information Network at the University of Connecticut Health Center Library is offering a workshop on "Navigating the Health Care System".  The program will be held on  Tuesday, May 6th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Middletown Library Service Center.  This hands on workshop will show you where to find reliable information  on: obtaining health insurance; Medicare and Medicaid;managed care plans; evaluating physicians and hospitals;  communicating with your doctor; long term care; privacy rights; and end of life decisions.

To register, send an email to richetelle at nso.uchc.edu and include the name of the program for which you are registering, your name, the name of your library, and a daytime telephone number.  Registration confirmations will be sent to you via email.  Register early - there is a limit on the number of registrations we can accept.  Registration deadline is May 1.
