LIBRARY TECHNICAL COORDINATOR


The Town of Tolland is seeking applications for the position of Library
Technical Coordinator.  35 hours a week with night and/or weekend hrs.
required.  Starting salary is $18.33 per hr.  Involves all functions of
the Technical Services including acquisitions, cataloging, serials
control, physical preparation of materials for addition to the library's
collections, withdrawals, preservation, database/collection maintenance
and assists patrons in the use of library services and facilities.  Min.
requirements:  an Associate's Degree and 3 years exp. in a public
library technical service dept. or equivalent dept., or a combination of
educational and public library exp. which provides a demonstrated
ability to perform the duties of the position.  Must be able to relate
positively to staff and provide good customer service to the public.
