Carnevale! 3rd Annual Cultural Celebration

 

On Saturday, January 26, from 12 noon to 4:00 pm., join the Trumbull Library
celebrating our Italian heritage! Carnival is the theme so children can
listen to Italian folktales, create their own masks, and participate in the
Carnival parade! Teens: make your own cannoli from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.! Adults:
Sing-Along with accordionist Fabio Lucarelli. In addition, Anthony Riccio
will share his collection of oral history interviews from his book "The
Italian American Experience in New Haven: Images and Oral Histories" from 1
- 2 p.m. Jackie Miconi will read from her cookbook, "Celebrate...Italian
Style," the National "Best Books" 2007 Awards Finalist for Regional
Cookbooks from 1 - 2 pm. The authors will have their books available for
sale.  Learn How to Pair Wine with your Meal from 2:15 - 3:15 and Italian
fare donated by Marissa's Restaurant in Trumbull, CT. The library hopes to
enrich the lives of those in our community by presenting a taste of Italian
Culture. Don't miss it! Snow Date: March 8th, 12 - 4 p.m. For more
