February 2008 Roundtables:
CLC's roundtables are a wonderful opportunity for people from different
libraries but with similar responsibilities and interests to come together
to share knowledge and ideas about a variety of professional topics. These
roundtables are open to all librarians regardless of geographic location or
job title!
CLC's Snow Policy (except where noted):
If school is delayed in the town hosting the event, the event will go on as
scheduled. If school is cancelled in the host town, the event will be
postponed to the snow date.
-Children's Librarians' Roundtable: Fairfield County
Chair: Tess Beck, Stratford Library Association
Are you interested in chairing this roundtable? Contact Tess at
tess at stratfordlibrary.org.
The Fairfield County librarians meet next on Monday, February 4, from 9:30
to noon at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe for a 2009 Nutmeg
discussion. Please choose a Nutmeg Nominee ahead of time and prepare a short
presentation for the group. Bring your handouts including activities, other
book suggestions, suitable snacks for young audiences, and, of course,
discussion questions. Contact Tess Beck at tess at stratfordlibrary.org or
Margaret Borchers at mborchers at biblio.org with the book you would like to
present. They can also provide you with the confidential list of 2009 books.

invited to attend. The snow date for this event is Monday, February 25th.
