[Conntech] 2008 Rock & Roll Library Tour

Dear Connecticut Librarians: 

 

I'm writing to inform you of an excellent programming opportunity. The
National Rock & Roll Library Tour will take place again this summer. I
have participated in this program twice, in Westport and in St Paul, MN,
and can say that both times have been a great success. Not only does the
program change the public's view of the library, but it also attracts
teenagers and other patrons who may not usually attend library events. 

 

The featured band, The High Strung, are energetic, professional, and
very nice guys to work with. Their music is rocking enough to satisfy
most teenagers and poppy enough to appeal to adults and children as
well. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this opportunity.
