Children's Librarian - Hagaman Memorial Library seeks a full time
service-oriented librarian (35 hours) to oversee the Children's Library in
East Haven, a shoreline town of 28,000.

Working with a staff of 2 FTE, the person selected will be responsible for
developing a collection to meet the needs of the community; providing
reference service for grammar and middle school students; planning,
implementing and developing in-house and off-site programs for children from
infancy to middle school to promote library use and establishing a working
relationship with the schools.

Requirements: MLS from an ALA accredited program. Prefer 3-5 years of
increasingly responsible children's librarianship in a public library;
excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; demonstrated computer
literacy. Valid driving license. Evenings and Saturdays required.. Salary:
