State Library Survey: Hints for gathering data
Discussion of data use

"We have a group of directors with a wide variety of experience. Please
share with us what you do throughout the year to gather the data that you
need to fill out this state survey. Are there forms that you have created,
mechanisms that you have installed (such as the door counter), or anything
else you could share with us? Bring samples where possible.

How do you use the data from the annual report? What are its strengths? What
are its weaknesses?  

As you know, Joanne Turschman, the state data coordinator, recently retired.
Due to a hiring freeze, her position has not yet been filled. I wanted to
get the state data coordinator to visit us, but that is not possible at this
time." Linda Senkus
