*Sunday Public Service Librarian*

This fall, the Oliver Wolcott Library will be expanding its hours and 
will open on Sundays. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, 
creative, public-service-oriented individual looking to be part of a 
professional team at an innovative, beautiful library. Responsibilities 
include: working the public service desk; assisting patrons using 
libraries materials, computers, equipment, and services; answering 
adult, teen and children’s reference, reader’s advisory and technology 
questions.

Qualifications: Dynix Horizon system experience preferred. M.L.S. or 
enrollment in MLS program required. Demonstrated experience working as a 
librarian. Excellent written and communication skills, ability to do 
multiple tasks, excellent knowledge of computers and the Internet, and a 
desire to work with the public. Hourly rate meets the CLA minimum for 
MLS. MLS student at a different rate.

Hours: Part-time. 5 hours a week *_every Sunday. _* Sundays 10- 3pm. No 
benefits.
