The Libratects workshop at Willington Public Library that was canceled in May is rescheduled to September 24th.

Libratects workshop at Willington Public Library

Libratects is a lecture series where public libraries describe their
building process to create an improved library facility.  The Willington Public Library will have several speakers covering some of these topics:
-When and how the project was started
-Planning 
-Fundraising
-Funding sources
-What key players do (architects, trustees, town officials, library
director, building committee, clerk of the works, etc.)
-Problems and how they were solved
-Things that worked well
-Using a private building consultant
-Site selection
-Bidding
-Construction
-Interior design and furnishing selection
-Moving

Project Description for the Willington Public Library:  This is a new library building with a total square footage of 18,560.  5,292 square feet in the basement is not finished.

3. Find the date of the event and click on the underlined event title

NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS,  NAME OF YOUR LIBRARY OR ARCHITECTURAL FIRM,
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS REQUIRED, NOTES (for additional instructions). 
5. Click on COMPLETE REGISTRATION when done. 
First time users will be prompted  to enter an address. Please enter
YOUR LIBRARY OR FIRM ADDRESS.  Once completed you will receive an
event confirmation form.  

CANCELLATION POLICY DUE TO BAD WEATHER: If the public schools in the
town/city that the library is located are closed due to bad weather,
the workshop will be canceled.
