Documentary Film “The Hollywood Librarian” at Otis Library*
* *
* **Norwich**, CT**….. The Otis Library will be showing the original
full-length documentary “The Hollywood Librarian: A Look at Librarians
Through Film” on Tuesday, July 15, at 6:00 p.m. in the Otis Library
Community Room. The 2007 documentary is the first look at the real work
and skills of the more than 60,000 librarians working in the United
States, a well-loved but little understood profession. It weaves
together documentary footage and interviews with movies clips of often
stereotypical librarians. The documentary was written and directed by
Ann Seidl, who is a librarian. This program is free and open to the public.*
