[Conntech] Windows SteadyState

Are any libraries using Windows SteadyState for security on public
access computers?  

 

Our library has 8 public access computers.  We are currently running an
outdated version of Fortres on them.   The cost of  new security
software is prohibitive for so few workstations and our tech support
person suggested SteadyState (free.) 

 

I wonder if anyone can recommend it or share concerns.
