Adjunct Reference Librarians (part-time)




Southern Connecticut State University is seeking reference librarians for a
part-time adjunct librarian pool. Adjunct Reference Librarians work
weekdays, nights, and/or weekends at the reference desk.  Appointments are
on an as-needed basis to provide specific hours of coverage at the reference
desk for one academic semester at a time.  May be required to conduct
library orientation tours and bibliographic instruction sessions and to
participate in collection development/weeding projects. 

 

ALA accredited MLS or equivalent required.  

Knowledge of academic reference tools and ability to search the Internet and
online databases required.  Previous professional experience in reference
service in an academic library required.
