Well, I admit we haven't tried the "History of the Jury Duty" program in
West Hartford yet, but... we've had great success with the "History of
Motor Vehicle Registration," the "Concise History of the Crossing Guard,
1956-1987" and the "Lore of the Lima Bean." Packed 'em in like sardines
in a can. Joe

Hi,

As a follow-up to the great testimonial provided by Lisa Sprague of
Enfield P.L., (attached below) I am happy to announce that the Cromwell
Belden Public Library will be hosting the Jury Duty program THIS
THURSDAY! So, if you would like to preview their program before you
contact Shari and Jammy, come to the Cromwell Belden Public Library, 39
West Street, Cromwell, CT on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. to
see the History of Jury Duty. As always, all programs are free and open

Hi All,
We're all usually looking for interesting and FREE programs and we just
had a great one. Shari DeLuca and Jammy Davies from the Jury
Administration presented a great program on the History of Jury Duty.
It started out with the Vikings to the CT witch trials (hint it wasn't
Salem who hung the first witch) to today. What I can't truly explain
here is how entertaining and laugh out loud FUNNY it was. It was truly
in the top 5 programs we had this year...and we've had "Spaceman" Bill
Lee, Peter Abrahams and Archer Mayor this year (not the same night)!
Really, I don't get out of jury duty for typing you this email, just
book them and have a great night. They also present at schools, so it
is suitable for younger audiences (but not the Rhyme Time set).
