CorvAircraft> Broken blind hole

'Vair Net,

I'm currently building up a 164cid Corvair engine with the WW 
manual.

One of oil pump housing mounting studs has broken through its 
blind hole in the case of my 164cid engine, and I was wondering if 
I can JB Weld the broken piece back on?  Seems like if the threads 
are sealed with a sealant that is impervious to engine oil this 
shouldn't be a problem, or is my case ruined?
